4th Semester Mechanical Engineering students from SGBIT visited Gokul Ferrocast Pvt. Ltd., Wagwade, Belagavi on 20th May 2025. Students gained hands-on exposure to ferrous casting processes, foundry operations, and quality control practices, bridging classroom knowledge with real-world manufacturing applications.
6th Semester Mechanical Engineering students from SGBIT visited Big Casting Pvt. Ltd., Udyambag, Belagavi on 21st May 2025. The visit provided practical insights into large-scale casting, metal forming, heat treatment processes, and industrial production techniques aligned with the VTU Mechanical Engineering curriculum.
5th Semester Mechanical Engineering students from SGBIT visited Jinnabakul Pvt. Ltd., Udyambag, Belagavi on 25th November 2024. Students observed forging and precision component manufacturing processes, gaining valuable industry exposure that supplements theoretical knowledge in manufacturing science and engineering.
3rd Semester Mechanical Engineering students from SGBIT visited Vaishali Industries Pvt. Ltd., Macche, Belagavi on 21st November 2024. The visit exposed students to industrial fabrication, sheet metal processing, and production planning, providing a practical understanding of engineering manufacturing systems.
3rd Semester Mechanical Engineering students from SGBIT visited L and G Steels Pvt. Ltd., Udyambag, Belagavi on 21st November 2024. Students were introduced to steel processing, rolling mill operations, and quality assurance in steel manufacturing, enriching their understanding of material science in industrial practice.
