The Department of Civil Engineering (CV) at SGBIT, Belagavi, holds NBA accreditation for its B.E. programme. The department offers specialised infrastructure across two well-equipped laboratory complexes — CAHML (Construction, Architecture, Hydraulics & Materials Lab) and EEL (Environmental Engineering Lab) — along with a comprehensive R&D facility powered by AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and ETABS.

The department also offers a M.Tech in Structural Engineering and a Ph.D. programme. NBA accreditation confirms compliance with Washington Accord standards for Outcome-Based Education and graduate professional competency.
