The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Cybersecurity is a dedicated initiative aimed at nurturing talent, advancing research, and strengthening cybersecurity capabilities within the institution. The centre serves as a hub for students, researchers, and industry experts to collaborate on innovative solutions to modern cyber challenges.
Through specialized training programs, workshops, certifications, and live projects, the CoE bridges the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. It also supports participation in national and international cybersecurity competitions, hackathons, and conferences.

Dr. Anita Patil is an academician and researcher with a primary background in wireless communication, currently expanding expertise into the domain of cybersecurity. As the Lead of the Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity, she is actively leading the establishment and development of the centre within the institution.
With a growing focus on secure communication systems, her work explores the intersection of wireless networks and cybersecurity, addressing emerging challenges in data protection and network resilience.
She has participated in multiple Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) in cybersecurity to strengthen domain knowledge and stay aligned with current trends. In addition to academic responsibilities, she is mentoring student projects in cybersecurity, encouraging practical learning and research-oriented thinking.
