The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at SGBIT, Belagavi has implemented a structured co-teaching model where 20 percent of the course curriculum is delivered by experienced industry associates. These professionals from AI, data science, and technology companies bring firsthand knowledge of production-level pipelines, real datasets, AI tools, and industry best practices into the classroom, significantly enriching VTU curriculum delivery with market-relevant applied learning experiences.

These industry partnerships have resulted in successful campus placements for AI and DS graduates (2023-24), demonstrating the department strong industry engagement and the employability of SGBIT AI and DS program graduates.
