B.E. Undergraduate Eligibility
  • Passed 10+2 / PUC II with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics
  • Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC category)
  • Must have appeared in KCET / COMEDK UGET / JEE Mains
M.Tech Eligibility
  • B.E. / B.Tech in relevant branch with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST)
  • Must have valid GATE score OR qualify PGCET Karnataka
  • Sponsored candidates from recognized industry also considered
MCA Eligibility
  • Any Bachelor degree with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science at 10+2 or degree level

Step-by-Step Admission Process
From entrance exam to your first day at SGBIT

Appear for Entrance Exam

Qualify Karnataka CET (KCET) — College Code E175, COMEDK UGET — Code E110, or JEE Mains. For M.Tech, qualify GATE / PGCET. For MCA, qualify PGCET / NIMCET.

Document Verification

Attend counseling with originals + 3 attested copies of 10th marks card, 12th marks card, TC, Conduct Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), and Aadhaar card.

Counseling & Seat Allotment

Participate in KEA / COMEDK / Institution counseling. Receive your branch and seat allotment letter.

Fee Payment

Pay prescribed tuition and other fees as per the schedule via NEFT/DD. Fee details available at the admissions office.

Report to SGBIT

Report to SG Balekundri Institute of Technology, Shivabasava Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi – 590010 with allotment letter and complete admission formalities.
